What We Do
Families Flourish, formerly Move to PROSPER, makes affordable rental housing available in neighborhoods that offer access to opportunities, such as higher resourced schools, safer neighborhoods, green spaces, grocery stores, employment and other resources. We partner with property owners in areas mapped by the Kirwan Institute and Ohio Housing Finance Agency. Their Opportunity index map utilizes a number of indicators to identify the many dimensions of strong, vibrant and healthy communities.
FF provides:
Three years of rental support
Monthly workshops and programs in financial capability, health & wellness, career advice and more
Access to safe, quality & healthy housing in an apartment in a higher resourced community
The assistance of a one-on-one coach to support reaching financial, career, and wellness goals for the whole family
Assistance integrating children into a new school & the family into a new neighborhood

Our Program
Families Flourish has relationships with participating landlords who own 2- bedroom apartments in many communities and schools including Bexley, Big Walnut, Blacklick, Columbus, Dublin, Gahanna, Grandview, Hilliard, Licking Heights, Lewis Center, New Albany, Olentangy Local, Reynoldsburg, Sunbury, Upper Arlington, Westerville, and Worthington. Our program includes a private rental support fund.
